Teachers Lead and Ambassadors Programs Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions govern participation in the Teachers Lead Program and Ambassador Program offered by Heroes Made. By applying to or participating in either program, you agree to the following terms:
1. Eligibility
1.1 Participation in the Teachers Lead Program is open to licensed elementary and middle school educators who are interested in integrating Social Emotional Learning (SEL) into their classrooms.
1.2 Participation in the Ambassador Program is open to educators who have previously used Heroes Made and completed the Teachers Lead Program or have been directly invited by Heroes Made.
1.3 Participants must not have purchasing authority over school or district budgets. By applying, you confirm that you do not have such authority, in compliance with your school district’s policies.
1.4 Heroes Made reserves the right to accept or reject applications at its sole discretion.
2. Free Access Period
2.1 Participants in the Teachers Lead Program will receive free access to Heroes Made for 6 months.
2.2 Participants in the Ambassador Program will receive an initial 2-month free access period following the completion of the Teachers Lead Program.
2.3 Continued free access beyond the initial period in the Ambassador Program is contingent on fulfilling engagement requirements as outlined in Section 4.
3. Responsibilities of Participants
3.1 Responsibilities of Teachers Lead Program Participants
Participants in the Teachers Lead Program are expected to:

Explore and use Heroes Made in their classrooms.

Complete an initial survey after joining.

Provide feedback on their experience through periodic surveys or virtual meetings.

Participate in at least two activities every six months, such as:
-
Sharing feedback during beta testing or platform updates.
-
Attending virtual meetings or webinars with the Heroes Made team.
-
Contributing to blog posts or testimonials about their experiences.

Promoting Heroes Made within their network by joining online discussions or engaging on social media.

3.2 Responsibilities of Ambassadors
Participants in the Ambassador Program are expected to:

Test new releases and provide feedback.

Complete an introductory survey.

Engage with the Heroes Made team to share experiences and connect with other education leaders.

Participate in at least two activities every six months, such as:

Promoting Heroes Made within your networks by attending events, joining online discussions, or engaging on social media.

Sharing Heroes Made news on your social channels.
-
Presenting at professional development events about your classroom experiences with Heroes Made.

Providing feedback through surveys, beta testing, or virtual meetings.

Participating in webinars, media interviews, or social media discussions about Heroes Made SEL.

Contributing to blog posts or other content as requested.

Offering testimonials for Heroes Made marketing.

Ambassadors must meet these participation requirements to remain in the program and will provide activity updates twice a year.
4. Engagement Requirements for Extended Free Access
4.1 To extend free access indefinitely, participants in the Ambassador Program must complete at least one of the following actions during each 6-month period:

Refer at least 5 new educators who adopt Heroes Made.

Create and share a promotional video or blog post featuring Heroes Made that achieves at least 1,000 engagements (likes, shares, or views).
4.2 Heroes Made will review submitted referrals and promotional content to ensure they meet the program’s criteria before granting extended free access.
4.3 Heroes Made reserves the right to modify the engagement requirements at any time, with prior notice to participants.
5. Termination of Access
5.1 Heroes Made reserves the right to terminate a participant’s free access or remove them from the program if they:

Fail to meet the engagement requirements outlined in Section 4.

Violate any terms and conditions of the Heroes Made platform.

Engage in inappropriate conduct, including but not limited to harassment, discrimination, or misuse of the platform.
5.2 Participants may voluntarily withdraw from the program at any time by providing written notice to Heroes Made.
6. Prize Giveaways
6.1 Participants in the Ambassador Program will have the opportunity to enter prize giveaways throughout the year. Prizes may include, but are not limited to, gift cards, merchandise, and free trips.
6.2 Eligibility for prize giveaways may be based on specific criteria, such as participation in promotional activities, referrals, or content creation.
6.3 Heroes Made reserves the right to modify or cancel prize giveaways at its sole discretion. Prizes are subject to availability and may vary.
6.4 No purchase is necessary to enter prize giveaways. Prize giveaways are void where prohibited by law.
7. Content Usage
7.1 By submitting promotional content (including but not limited to videos, blog posts, and testimonials), participants grant Heroes Made a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and distribute the content for marketing and promotional purposes.
7.2 Participants confirm that any submitted content complies with their school/district’s policies regarding public sharing and does not infringe on the rights of third parties.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
8.1 Heroes Made is committed to protecting participants’ personal information. Any data collected during the application process or program participation will be used solely for program administration and communication purposes.
8.2 Heroes Made will not sell or share participants’ personal information with third parties, except as required by law or as necessary to administer the program.
8.3 Participants may request access to or deletion of their personal data at any time by contacting Heroes Made at [support email].
9. Disclaimer
9.1 Participation in the Teachers Lead Program and Ambassador Program is voluntary and does not create an employment relationship with Heroes Made. Participants are not entitled to compensation unless specified (e.g., referral rewards or prize giveaways).
9.2 Heroes Made makes no guarantees regarding the outcomes of using the platform in classrooms or the success of promotional activities.
10. Modifications to the Program
10.1 Heroes Made reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Teachers Lead Program or Ambassador Program at any time, with prior notice to participants.
10.2 Any changes to these terms and conditions will be communicated to participants and posted on the Heroes Made website. Continued participation in the program following such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
11.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
11.2 Any disputes arising from participation in the Teachers Lead Program or Ambassador Program will be resolved through binding arbitration in New York.
